A young producer of a doomed livestream trivia show, must navigate backstabbing, an eccentric boss, lazy PAs, and decide which host to fire … while trying to save her own relationship.
It’s a show, within a show, about a show.
Huh? I know. Don’t even get Raf started. But, welcome to “next generation” television, that often takes place on most every type of device except an actual TV! We are creating the show Trivial with modern viewers and preferences in mind, borne from our experience building a livestream show for an app-based audience.
Meet the cast
Rafael Siegel
If you're a trivia fan then you probably recognize him right away as a live-stream host, but Rafael Siegel also has more than 50 credits to his name from starring roles in indie short films to appearances on hit TV shows like The Mentalist. He was part of a Boy Band (U-N-I) with American Idol season 1 stand out Jules Sanchez. This led to more film shorts, ads and hosting jobs and in 2016 he got a big break as the politically-incorrect zealot neighbor, Jorge, in Meet The Blacks.
Beau Danner
Beau Danner keeps it simple in his life: If it's got two wheels, he rides it. If it's sci-fi, he reads it. And if a camera is rolling, he wants to be in front of it, which explains why he’s committed to Trivial. Beau has a passion for language and the science of learning. When he’s not performing, he’s pursuing Ed-Tech; Look out Neal Stephenson. “If I have it my way I'll make ‘The Diamond Age’ a educational reality,” he says. “Not the skullgun part, though. That would suck, Neal.” In addition to commercials and informational videos, Beau is best known as the host of Cash Show (2018).
Molly Ratermann
Molly Ratermann has emerged as an award-winning producer, director and writer since first hitting the festival circuit in 2015. The San Francisco born filmmaker has gained international attention for creating dark comedies which shed light on important social issues. She's been featured in magazines including Vogue Italia, FSHN Mag, BayFashion Magazine, 86 Mag, Vigore Magazine, Institute, Style Equation, and others.
Victoria Ma
Victoria Ma has a strong emotional connection to pandas--she cries with happiness whenever she sees them--and she is best known for her work on Superhero Role Model (2016), Munkey in the City (2017) and Low Budget Ethnic Movie.
Montana Wyck
